Program

Infant Day Care

Soft lullabies and Sweet laughter are where imagination and learning begin. Teachers in our infant child care classroom are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where babies can explore and interact with their environment. We build language development with your infant by talking to them and by using verbal and non-verbal gestures. We build receptive language through telling stories, reading books and signing songs.

Emerging Emotions allows your baby to learn how to understand their own feelings through positive social interactions with their teachers and peers. Research has shown that engaging infants in interactive experiences that involve sensory, motor, and social explorations will build brain connections. Our infant curriculum focuses on engagement and stimulation through social interactions including: talking, playing, moving, reading and singing.

We support your baby’s physical development by helping them meet developmental milestones such as rolling from side-to-side, sitting up, crawling, standing and walking. Infant classroom is designed to develop physical, emotional, social and cognitive skills for babies between the ages of six weeks and twelve months.

Toddler Day Care

One of the most important ways to ensure that a child is on the right track for development, is to make each baby feel as secure and loved as when they are with their Mother. Studies show that when babies are held and feel loved, they develop into more stable and confident adults. Our teachers spend time holding and cuddling babies to ensure they get the physical contact that is so vital to the well-being of the infants.

As the infants grow older, teachers spend time developing gross motor skills, fine motor skills, speech skills, feeding skills, cognitive skills, and sensory skills. Activities include singing, playing with puppets, dancing, and tummy-time. Infants become aware of other people, and move on to imitating hand and facial gestures, making animal sounds and saying the names of family members.

Mother’s Touch well-balanced toddler program helps to boost children’s confidence as they examine the world around them through hands-on learning activities. Our toddler program focuses on self-soothing and self-regulation techniques, promoting independence, motor-skill development, and coordination. Teachers listen attentively, talk through routines, and are sensitive to the types of activities that engage the child’s attention to cultivate new, complex thinking skills. Teachers work closely with families about developmental accomplishments and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

Emerging Emotions support your child in developing relationships with their peers while promoting independence, confidence and the desire to discover new things. We support your toddler’s physical development by helping them meet developmental milestones such as crawling, standing and walking.

Through Healthy Beginnings, our teachers help set and maintain individualized schedules to promote healthy eating and sleeping routines. Through activities and games, we inspire Healthy Beginnings that are designed to support your toddler’s muscle development and coordination. This way we help your toddlers to master basic skills such as walking, running, hopping, jumping, kicking and balancing.

We help your young child explore concepts such as cause-and-effect, trial-and-error, object permanence, persistence, problem-solving, flexibility, and inventiveness through intentional teaching and purposeful play. Your child will also explore new concepts through hands-on activities and building memory, reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

We’ll handle your child with care!
